Here are a couple of cards I have made over the last couple of days using my new funky fairy stamps and Polly and Pip stamps that I have also bought recently! They are very cute! The funky fairy stamps are available from their website and Polly and Pip belong to Clevercut! I have messed around with colours and layouts again and not sure if they are quite right yet but ok for my first play with them!
Here is one of the funky fairy stamps! She is so cute. I coloured her hair in black so she is a bit of a gothic style fairy! I think she is adorable. This was my first card with them so I kept it simple just using some bassil cardstock and a happy birthday stamp. Still think she needs a little something extra-maybe it is time to get my flowers out again!
This is one of my Pip stamps from clevercut. A cool dude! He is great for cards for teenage boys. Stamped really well and was great to colour in-with distress inks of course! Been hooked ever since my friend introduced me to them! As this is for a boy I didn't think it was approriate to decorate with flowers and couldn't think what else to use so I stapled bits of brown ribbon on to tie in with the colours but am not sure whether I like them or not. I have ordered some large brads in neutral, masculine colours so I will be able to use those next time to fill in the gap!

This was another card made with my funky fairies stamp but in more of a pinky girlie style! (You will notice I have lots of pink and girlie cards!) I think she looks really sweet in pink and blonde hair. I tried another new layout with this card and introduced circles! Then I finished it off with some flowers from Joanna Sheen's website and 'for a special friend' stamp as a greeting.
Can't wait to play with these stamps again soon! At the moment I am ploughing my way through schemes of work and mid-term plans trying to get myself organised for September! Crafting has been put on the sidelines for a little while-at least during the day, I may have to take a few hours off in the evening...!
