My dear friend Becky gave me some lovely images of Dottie and I have been playing with them today. I think they make great cards and they are so sweet! These are Christmas ones but I do have some others that would be good for birthday cards that I shall be crafting with over the next few days so watch out for those!
Dottie as a robin! This is such a cute image! They were images that were already coloured in and I played around with another layout. Of course I added some gorgeous flowers-love the colour of this one. The 'Merry Christmas' stamp is one of a set I got from Partners a while ago.
Dottie ice skating-this image is great and it allowed me to get all my chilly blue papers out and flowers to have a play with! This was a bigger image so I used an A5 card. The stamps of 'Winter Wonderland' and the snowflakes are from Dovecraft and were some of their mini 99p stamps from last year!
I think this is George dressed up as Santa! This is one of the layouts that I was using yesterday and the same flowers and stamp from earlier cards. You can't make Christmas cards without some sort of Father Christmas!
This is Dottie and George underneath the mistletoe! My friend was saying that this image, when it is black and white, has been used for anniversary cards. So rather than colouring them in in festive colours, colour them in whatever colour you like and replace the mistletoe with a heart! What a good idea! I think they make a very cute couple!
This is another cute image of Dottie in the snow. I tried out another layout here. I like it but I think my greeting is a bit too big so shall try to remember that next time. I put ribbon down the side of the card which gives it a bit of texture. I have a feeling that I am warming to the blue colours for my cards this year...!
This is another of my fave images of Dottie-I love them all!lol! She looks so cute as a Christmas tree! This card looks a bit plain but I don't think it looks too bad! Minimalistic! Hope you liked looking at my Dottie cards!
